Kirin Rogers- Powerhouse lead guitarists of Southbound Train, known for his fiery riffs, and soulful southern phrasing. From the moment he could lift a guitar, Kirin was enamored with it, developing a style that’s both technically masterful and emotionally charged. Kirin was heavily influenced by the critically acclaimed jam band “moe.” Having grown up a family member of the band and from a very young age was immersed in a world of improvisation, groove, and fearless musicianship. He first sat in with moe. at 18 years old at Atlanta’s legendary Tabernacle, igniting a path that has since led to multiple sit-ins, including a standout performance at Atlanta’s The Eastern in 2025, featured on Sirius XM’s Jam-On. His playing blends blistering solos with melodic depth, creating a sound that feels both epic and electrifying. Beyond the stage, Kirin’s versatility has led him to commission work, most notably contributing to the soundtrack of a popular YouTube Speedrunning documentary by creator SHiFT. With influences rooted in jam, rock, and improvisation, he’s carved out an electrifying sound.
Bonnie Falk - Bass has played with Jack Falk for many years and has opened shows for Lover Boy, Mountain and Metallica. And Bonnie also recorded with Bobby from the original Steve Miller Band. Bonnie holds down the bottom end and moves with the energy and grace.
Joseph Jennings - Joe holds down tight drum beats and has perfect meter. 4 decades of drumming experience has been the glue for SBT and his beats and energy drive the rhythm section.
Mike Chastain- Mike can hold down the rhythm guitar and well as play the most soulful blues leads. Over 4 decades of playing experience has created a solid foundation and his leadership and vocal capability has allowed SBT to span to other genres and be more than just a Southern Rock Band.
